ShoreTel and the Synergy Report/ Ace Awards
The latest Synergy report articulating market share changes for ShoreTel, from the quarter ending September 2008 to the quarter ending December 2008. I’m happy to announce that ShoreTel’s worldwide market share increased from 2.8% to 3%, and in the US increased from 5.6% to6.6%. The category measured was pure IP-LAN and IP Phones. During this period, Cisco, Avaya and Nortel all lost market shares in the US due to the efforts of our channel partners like Creative Switching Designs, Inc. Despite what we hear in the papers, the bottom line is business continues to be done, and ShoreTel is winning more than it’s fair share.

Additionally Shoretel just received the 2008 Ace Awards for Overall customer Satisfaction and Technical Support Satisfaction.

Just spent some time checking out my friend Andy Valadez's web site. (www.TheMarketingVortex.com)

I got a kick out of the Queens song, Fat Bottomed Girls, and enjoyed the Kevin Price Video. Not to mention the host of other videos available.

Andy is the King of multitasking. He has more things going on that anyone I know. May be credited to the fact that he was a Marine, or it could be his dedication to furthering the Kingdom of God. Either way, I urge you to check him out.

He is the real deal.

Time passing quickly, the SuperBowl, and how it affect voice recognization.

01/26/2009

I just finished a great article on voice recognition at http://www.vianix.com/home.html, I was glad we had selected their MASC Speech Processing Software for the next generation of the "Alliance Recorder ' we manufacture. Here's what they say:

"MASC Speech Processing for Automatic Recognition Technology is an end to end speech solution available today across a wide variety of markets. Its  unique ability is to process speech in order to provide high voice quality Automatic Recognition Technology is an end to end speech solution available today across a wide variety of markets. Its  unique ability is to process speech in order to provide high voice quality."

It also made me realize how time has flown since the first SuperBowl One, and all the technology improvements in the last 43 years. It also made me realize how fast this year, 2009, is flying by. January is almost gone.

If you would like additional information on the Alliance Recorder, please call me at 800-571-0911 x 311.

Have a Blessed Day!

Thomas Larvin
